Safety Message
Clerk of the Course Thomas Treanor has made a special appeal to all concerned to think safety at all times. The Event Safety Plan has been compiled meticulously. Marshals, Stage Commanders and Officials have been trained accordingly. What is required is that spectators play their part to ensure the safe running of the event. All are asked to ‘keep the race in its place’ and drive with care to and from the stages. Take time to read the Spectator Safety Notice in the rally programme. Safety is everyone’s business and there is one common ingredient that is essential ‘common sense’. Spectators are asked to follow the instructions of the marshals and officials, who are working for your safety. Please also respect private property and bring your litter home.

The official launch
Regarded as one of the biggest annual sporting events in the county, this years event is better than ever with a truly magnificent entry list of R5,, R2, WRC specification cars, group N entries along with a host of powerful two wheel drive cars. Many months of preparation have gone into this event, which is estimated to be worth in the region of 5 million euro to the local economy with large crowds expected throughout Monaghan town and the mid-Monaghan region over the course of the weekend.
This is the 4th year that the event is backed by Four Seasons and their enthusiastic staff. The event will comprise of three stages repeated three times with service in Monaghan town after each loop. The podium celebration will take place at 5.40pm at the 4 Seasons Hotel where the 2024 Monaghan Stages Rally winners will be crowned!

A message from the Clerk of Course
I would like to thank Frank, Annmarie and all the staff of the Four Seasons once again for the HQ and all their help and support over the past year.
All the residents and landowners along the route, sincere thanks for your cooperation, it is much appreciated.
A special thanks to all the members of CMMC that worked tirelessly to get the rally set up and over the line.
To the commanders and assistants along with their crews of men and women for their tremendous work on the stages. Fantastic work folks, it has been a pleasure,
All the marshals, timekeepers and officials for taking the day to ensure our event ran safe and sound.
To everyone in the rally office, scrutiny, parc ferme and service – thank you for all the hard work.
