The Škoda Parts Ireland National Endurance Championship resumed with the Cork Motor Club Spring Endurance Trial on Sunday last. Portlaoise based Ballybay man, Evin Hughes and his driver Karl O’Donoghue took the overall victory by 46s after the twenty selectives.

Father and son team, Seán and Caolain McCaffrey took Maisy the Micra home in 40th overall and 8th in the A2N class.

Killian McArdle and Paul McPhillips were in Sweden last weekend competing in the BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia.
This Swedish event counted as the second round of the M-Sport Fiesta Rally3 Trophy 2026 and the opening round of the 2026 Junior European Rally Championship.
In this sixteen special-stage gravel event spread over three days, Killian guided Tipperary man Casey Jay Coleman to 17th overall and 4th in the RC3 class.
In the M-Sport Fiesta Rally3 Trophy 2026 the team finished on the podium by taking 3rd place. They were just 3.5s in arrears of their County Cavan neighbours Craig Rahill navigated by Conor Smith who took 2nd place.
Unfortunately for Paul and his driver Cian Caldwell, they were forced to retire on the final stage of the event with mechanical issues onboard their car. Mechanical issues had also halted their progress on Saturday evening as a crankshaft sensor gave up on SS8 leaving them having to retire and rejoin the event on Sunday under Super Rallye rules. They had been in 6th position before the retirement on Saturday.
