The McKelvey Construction Bushwhacker Rally took place last weekend. The County Tyrone event hosted by Omagh Motor Club Ltd took place over ten gravel stages based in the forests between the village of Lack and the Barnesmore Gap.
Josh Moffett/Andy Hayes took the victory by 4.6s using the Combilift Hyundai i20 R5. 2nd place went to the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 crew of Mark Donnelly/Martin Brady.
James McCarville/Arthur Kierans took their Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 to 11th overall. Michael Conlon/Domhnall Lennon finished 40th overall and took 3rd in class 3 using their Ford Escort MkII.
Kerry Motor Club hosted their endurance trail last weekend. At the end of this twenty selective event Evin Hughes had guided Karl O’Donoghue to 10th overall and 2nd in class A2M.
The regulations and entry form are now available for the first navigation trial of the season.
The first event is hosted by ourselves and will be based out of the Latton O’Rahillys GAA Centre on Saturday night October 3rd.
Aaron McGorman assisted by Darren Lavery are the clerks of the course for this event.
This October navigation trial will be the final round of the 2025/26 Gary Nesbitt Club Navigation Championship and the overall club Traders Championship.
The annual Co. Monaghan Motor Club CLG awards night is fast approaching. The awards night will take place in the Four Seasons Hotel Monaghan on Sunday night October 25th. Tickets will go on sale soon.
